I hope that the pavement widening becomes permanent. And the pedestrianisation of the slip road across village green as happens for Farmers market on Saturday would be really good if it can be permanent, with traffic taking a left at the lights, and/ or up Woodstock Road

The extra walkway on bustop next to Chantry road is potentially dangerous. The chances of contracting the virus from passing people outside at a bustop is virtually zero, added to the fact that this bustop is rarely busy. Cars are often turning right and so drivers being veer left to continue continue otherwise there are tailbacks. But now there's an enormous extra pavement jutting into the road. Because it is an expensive intervention BCC may not admit the potential danger of this 'walkway' until there's an accident.
