Fantastic addition as this part of Birmingham is often ignored when it comes to improvents. Mainly ignored by construction workers and car drivers in general on carver street and Legge lane

More physically separated cycle lanes, traffic calming measures, and improvements to junctions. I'm a law-abiding female cyclist who rides a inexpensive bike in normal clothes + hi viz to commute, go to the supermarket, visit friends etc (not a daredevil delivery rider, 'lycra warrior' or whoever else some motorists like to rage against) and I'm constantly passed dangerously close, honked at, cut off etc for zero reason. I've lived in several other cities and never experienced a degree of driver hostility comparable to that in B'ham. We really do need many more physically separated cycle lanes/other infrastructure, because drivers don't respect painted on lines or riders sharing the road with them.
